In early 2014, the INCITS Secretariat implemented a process for the registration of JTC 1 or ISO/TC211 international technical reports and technical specifications with the final result being an INCITS Technical Report or Technical Specification that is registered with ANSI instead of these documents being adopted as American National Standards....
