Hello,

This document contains possible modifications to FC-FS-6 if we decide to adopt the proposal to transmit only one 128G Alignment Marker (AM) on the "wire" (that is, a single 128G AM pattern before the Gray Mapping function).

To summarize, the FC-FS-6 changes would include"
1) new 5.10.2 section to describe three different inserted AMs that will result a one common AM on the wire.

2) update to section numbering to accomodate new 5.10.2

3) Remote Degrade (RD) bit positions during AM Insertion

4) update to Annex K patterns that apply bit interleaving

5) update to 5.5.3

Format is in MS Word hoping it would make it easier for readers to identify changes using MS Word Tracking Changes feature.

Regards,
Raul
