| Description | Project Initiation Notification (PINS) submission to ANSI to announce the Adoption of ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC international standards in the Standards Action edition March 24, 2023. The announcement of new projects also serves as a call for patents and any other pertinent issues (copyrights, trademarks). Correspondence regarding intellectual property rights may be emailed to the INCITS Secretariat at patents@standards.incits.org. The interest categories that comprise the consensus body are Producer-Hardware, Producer-Software, Producer-General, Distributor, Service Provider, User, Consultants, Government, SDO and Consortia, Academic Institution, General Interest.
